The portable package includes the engine and models. Recognition does not upload your score or download models.
Open MusicXML in MuseScore Studio to correct notes, adjust notation and listen. MuseScore is installed separately.
Search, preview and rename scores. Keep original PDFs and conversion versions, and link files edited in MuseScore.
Extract the complete portable package, run PDF2Muse.exe and drag in a PDF or choose a file.
Choose an output folder and start recognition. The app shows processing stages and exports MusicXML when complete.
Open the result in MuseScore, compare notes and rhythms against the original, then edit and play.
PDF2Muse exports MusicXML, which MuseScore Studio can open. After editing, save the score as an MSCZ file in MuseScore.
The complete portable package needs neither Python nor Java installed. MuseScore is optional for recognition and installed separately for editing and playback.
The current input is PDF sheet music and the output is MusicXML. PDF2Muse does not extract ordinary PDF text or transcribe audio into notation.
Yes. OMR may omit or misread notes, rhythms and complex markings. Successful export does not guarantee complete accuracy; PDF2Muse does not automatically correct the result.
